Semiconductor manufacturer open joint-stock company “Zaporozhye Plant Preobrazovatel” (founded in Zaporozhye city) is over 35 years old already and Zaporozhye school of power-semiconductor devices design and manufacture is one of the best in the CIS (Commonwealth of Independent States) and is the one and only in Ukraine. In order not to lose its unique experience and to preserve the viability of native power-semiconductor manufacture there was founded Element-Preobrazovatel Ltd in 1998 on the basis of semiconductor devices department of open joint-stock company “Zaporozhye Plant Preobrazovatel”.
The main activity areas of Element-Preobrazovatel Ltd are the following: design, manufacturing and selling of power-semiconductor devices. Design department of Element-Preobrazovatel Ltd is outfitted with modern facilities for carrying out design and research work in the spheres of engineering the new and modernization of the serialized power-semiconductor devices. New directions of design are focused at a promising trend of energy-efficient technologies development. Application of up-to-date technical decisions and techniques allows the specialists to solve the engineering tasks at the level of world achievements.
At present Element-Preobrazovatel Ltd offers a wide variety of middle- and high-powered devices: diodes, high-voltage multiple diodes, thyristors, triacs, photon-coupled thyristors and triacs, modules of different types, hybrid non-potential systems, chips and semiconductor elements for 5 to 4000A current strength and 100 to 4500V tension.
